About Justin
Who I Am
It is my great honor and privilege to announce my candidacy for the Campbell County Board of Supervisors to represent the Timberlake District. As a born and raised native of Campbell County with long family ties to the area, I look forward to the opportunity to serve my community and lend my voice as their representative on the Board. From a young age, my family imbued in me the importance of service and selflessness. Through 17 years in the Boy Scouts of America as both a youth and adult leader, these principles have been ingrained in me and become part of who I am.
What I Believe
As a Republican and constitutional conservative, I believe the role of government is to handle only those matters specifically granted them in the constitution and play as small a part as possible in people’s day to day lives. Government should remain small and unobtrusive with taxes kept as low as possible. Tax revenue should go toward specific projects and only be raised when more money is truly needed and accountability of current funds is not in question.
Looking Forward
As a Brookville graduate, and Virginia Tech engineer with many years of experience in process improvement, it is my plan to bring my talents and a new perspective to the Board to find creative ways to address the issues and concerns facing our community. We need to continue developing a strong economy within our community and provide opportunities for our citizens to thrive. Campbell County has always been a great place to live, and with the continued growth of the County and new families and businesses moving into our community, we should strive to be at the forefront of development while retaining the spirit that makes our community so wonderful.
